Well-known resonator guitar innovator Tim Scheerhorn has collaborated with Wechter to produce several unique Scheerhorn models. The 6510-F Square Neck Resonator Guitar features several Scheerhorn touches including hard maple saddles with proprietary Scheerhorn model black caps, Scheerhorn internal resonator baffle, and a cone specified by Tim Scheerhorn. The 6510-F also features a mahogany top and mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard with flush maple fret markers and dot inlays, and “F” style sound holes. The square neck resonator style guitar was made to be played as a lap instrument typically used in bluegrass music.
