Words/Music – Rand Anderson
Have you seen the old man? That lives in the park
He chases giant lizards that wander through the dark
The people say he’s crazy but once a famous man
He don’t really care now so he drinks all he can
Sometimes he wobbles but he don’t fall down
Don’t fall down, Don’t fall down, Don’t fall In between his teeth there hangs on old cigar
He reeks of the rot gut whiskey that’s brewing in his jar
His tales go on forever It’s wisdom from his past
He tells of all the women and the fortunes he’s amasssed
he says “Sometimes I wobble but I don’t fall down”
Don’t fall down, Don’t fall down, Don’t fall Into his hand he stares for a while
Silence comes upon him and begans to smile
As he drifts off to Wonderland, a place that he knows well
Where he can get some safety far from his living hell
Sometimes he wobbles but he don’t fall down
Don’t fall down, Don’t fall down, Don’t fallThe SpiralDown down down He falls through the air
Watching his TV from his favorite chair
The wife is in the kitchen the kids are in the yard
He’s got all he wants and the living aint so hard
He likes to get his dinner sometime before eight
and fall asleep by 10 so he dont sleep too late
For tomorrow he must work so he can break his bread
but he just keeps on going crazy crazy in his head
Well finally one day he says I think I,ve had enough
I want to take it easy cuz now its just too tough
His world is just a circus and he is just a clown
so he dreams on forever as he falls down………….
